Author Guidelines

The Journal of International Management and Technology (JIMT) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts that contribute to theoretical advancement, empirical understanding, and practical insights in the fields of management, innovation, and technology. Authors are encouraged to submit manuscripts that address contemporary challenges in international business, digital transformation, sustainability, and related interdisciplinary domains.

Manuscripts submitted to JIMT must be written in clear, scholarly English and prepared using Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). The document should use 11-point Times New Roman font, 1.5 line spacing, and standard 2.54 cm margins. All pages must be numbered consecutively. Italics should be used rather than underlining, except for URLs. Figures and tables must be inserted within the text at their relevant locations and numbered sequentially with descriptive titles and sources where applicable. Authors should ensure that their manuscript adheres to the stylistic, structural, and bibliographic requirements of JIMT before submission.

A complete submission consists of two separate files: the main manuscript and a title page (refer template). The main manuscript should not include any identifying information such as author names, affiliations, or acknowledgements to preserve the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process. The title page should contain the full title of the paper, the names of all authors, their institutional affiliations, ORCID iDs (if available), and full contact information for the corresponding author.

Each manuscript should begin with an abstract of no more than 250 words that succinctly summarizes the purpose, methodology, key findings, and implications of the study. Manuscripts should not exceed 10,000 words of main content, excluding the abstract, references, tables, and figures. The abstract should be written in a single paragraph without subheadings, followed by three to six keywords that accurately represent the main themes of the paper. The manuscript should then proceed through standard sections including Introduction, Literature Review, Methodology, Results or Findings, Discussion, and Conclusion. References should follow the APA 7th edition style guide, with DOIs or URLs provided wherever possible.

JIMT considers only original manuscripts that have not been previously published or are not under consideration by any other journal. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their submission complies with all relevant ethical standards and accurately represents their research findings. All manuscripts will be subjected to a double-blind peer-review process to ensure scholarly rigor, originality, and contribution to the field.

Authors are strongly advised to review the COPE Ethical Guidelines before submission, as JIMT fully adheres to the principles and practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Ethical considerations include responsible authorship, acknowledgment of contributions and funding sources, avoidance of plagiarism, and respect for research participants and data confidentiality.

Before submitting, authors should carefully review their manuscript to ensure that it complies with the formatting and referencing requirements described in these guidelines. Submissions that do not meet the journal’s standards may be returned for technical revision prior to review. All correspondence and manuscript submissions should be made through the official JIMT online submission system.
